I knew you for quite some time and even if I did not agree with everything that went down, I always respected it. You seemed to be a great man and it is safe to say you will be missed by many across the CN community. I have no doubt you brought your towel with you even on this occasion.

It is quite unfortunate what happened, and I offer my most sincere condolences to his loved once. This cannot be an easy time for you, but I know that you will pull through one way or another. 19. Neal (Denzin) was one of my closest friends in this internet community of ours. When I joined the Mostly Harmless Alliance I had no idea that the people I met there would become actual friends to me, but they did. Neal was a mentor at many stages of my time in Cybernations. He was also a friend, and I cherish our conversations. My favorite memory is when he lost a bet to me last year when my alma mater, the University of Oregon, faced his alma mater, the University of South Florida, in the Sun Bowl. Oregon won(!) but Neal was gracious in defeat.

I find comfort in knowing that Neal has found peace. My thoughts and prayers go to his family.

  20. You were a kind person in a setting where that was a rarity. You were nice when it was not necessary, and that made you stand out as not just a great player, but a great person as well. I can only regret that I did not speak with you more often than I did, and am thankful for the times that I had the opportunity to speak with you.

Rest well, and know that the community you spent so much time with will always keep you in our thoughts.

  21. He was an amazing bloke and will be sorely missed. I only got to know him a little throughout his time on CN, but I knew for sure he was one of the greatest, kindest souls in the game. The community shall always keep you in their hearts.

  22. Many of us here shared great memories with Neal. My deepest condolances to your family. In our game we play, we have respective alliances. I as did many others, had the honor of being in the same alliance as Neal. He was always a cheerfull fellow, and was an important figure in our community. I consider him a friend, and he will be missed by all whom he touched. Words can not begin to describe how much I feel for your family Neal, as if you touched them an ounce that you touched us... May you all have strength to move on from this. I'd like to think he's in a better place now. He will be severely missed.

  23. Neal (Denzin),

I enjoyed the conversations we have shared, both good and bad. You always were one to show patience and understanding when it was least expected. I only wish I had the opportunity to know you personally. Rest well Neal.

  24. Denzin and I talked often, but I hadn't seen him in a bit. However, the last time we talked, he was helping me pick out tshirts from an online store. We were joking about how geeky some of them were, and he told me which ones he liked the best.

Whenever I wear those tshirts now, I'll think of Denzin. He was a wonderful friend to me, and I remember telling him so much. He was one person I felt I could tell anything to, and I'll miss that so much. My condolences go to his family, they've lost a wonderful person.

  27. There is a an old Scots saying;

"The sum of a man's life is measured by the effect on others, by his passing."

By that token, the man behind the Denzin mask was, in my eyes. Truly a great man.

Both he and his family remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Though I know you cannot read this, nor the email I have already sent, I know that you know how I feel. Denzin was among the great leaders of Planet Bob due to the selfless way he worked for those in and out of his beloved alliance. You were an amazing friend and I will always hold dear the trust and value you placed on our friendship. It was an honor to place you amongst my trusted friends in this silly little game. I hope you are at peace my brother and that you will rest easy from all your troubles. You said and know that I will always be a Hitchhiker at heart. 41. Denzin has always been a constant insperation for me to strive for the best in MHA. Denzin has made MHA what it is today and without him, we would not have been complete. It has been truley an honor to work with such a dedicated and caring person that it is is hard to hold back tears. People say that it is just the internet, but it is more than that. Although we are all seperated by a computer screen and lots of wires, we all are a community and treat each other as such. Denzin, a great MHA member is no longer with us and we come together as the community we are to grieve our loss of a really awesome guy. RIP, Denzin. You will be missed.

  62. Denzin,

It's a shame I never got to know you. Reading back through your old posts and stuff both within the alliance and throughout all of Cybernations, I can tell that you were quite an extraordinary person.

MHA has grown a lot in a year. We've accomplish many things as a group of friends. I wish you could've been there to see it.

    To Neal's family and friends:

He meant a lot to a great deal of people. Some who never got to meet him in person. It has been a year since his passing and still his memory is very much alive to those he helped, to those he inspired, and to those whose lives were bettered due to his presence.
